Omnitech Opens Rapid City Office

Omnitech has been looking to Rapid City as an expansion location for several years and with the momentum of Elevate Rapid City, the awarding of the B21 bomber to Elsworth, and Omnitech’s year over year growth, details finally fell into place to make this plan a reality. Our ribbon cutting for the new office took place Tuesday, July 16th at the Ascent Innovation Center in Rapid City, and we were very excited for the warm welcome and support from the community.

“Elevate Rapid City is pleased to welcome the expansion of Omnitech’s footprint in the Rapid City community. Omnitech is a great example of one of the pillars of Elevate Rapid City: growing technology companies with a permanent presence in the community. Omnitech has a company culture of not only investing in the community but giving back, as well. It’s a perfect fit!”  – Pat Burchill, Interim CEO of Elevate Rapid City.

We are excited to join the Rapid City area for a few reasons.  We felt our skillsets could complement the growing Rapid City community that could use a business to tap the need for high-end software development and data talent.  We are proud to be a South Dakota company, and we wanted to maintain our physical presence in South Dakota while also helping to support forward-thinking engineering in the state.  There is an overwhelming number of talented graduates from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, and we wanted to ensure ample opportunities to retain that talent in the Rapid City community.

“Our company culture is all about investing in our South Dakota communities to help elevate the technology opportunities and knowledge in the area. We are excited to become involved in the community and work with area companies as they grow.”  –  Chad Vondra, Owner/Partner at Omnitech

We are very thankful for the support from the Ascent Innovation Center and Elevate Rapid City and look forward to working alongside them as we become part of the Rapid City business community. For over twenty years, we have built relationships with clients that have evolved as their business needs have changed. We look forward to nurturing new long-term relationships in Rapid City. As opportunities in the area develop for small businesses, we will be able to help them take advantage of those opportunities, solve new and more complicated business issues, and grow in tandem with their community.
